Here is the prologue to a story I began writing years ago. Its an post-apocalyptic story about a girl named Soleil and how she is managing in a world against her. If you like let me know and i'll post more chapters.

Left Behind
She was on her way to the spaceport, to board a shuttle that would take her to one of the spacecrafts that will carry all the humans off world... or so she thought. Instead, she was brought to a remote location, doomed to be left on earth, alone and miserable. Now, years later, she's ready to face the wilderness together with her "kidnapper".
