This story is about 15 year old Au'Lahni Pierce who's struggling with a very sick mom. "Everything was fine hours ago,"she said. Au'Lahni's my is suffering stage 2 lung cancer and stage 4 brain cancer. As to one night Au'Lahni was babysitting her cousin Kingston(King) she went to check on her mother who was supposed to be sleeping but was unconscious. <<Now I'm gonna start the story off with them already at the hospital>> It's called Darkness Before The Light so basically it's about this girl she go thru many struggles(which is her darkness) she fight battle after battle until she see know changes in her life, so she finally decides to kill herself (which is her light or fate) but her mother once told her as she was dying from cancer that she saw the darkness (as her life was coming to an end) she saw a peak of light, so when Au'Lahni was about to kill herself her she remembered her mothers words which where "I could see the light and it's beautiful" Au'Lahni saw that light and her mother appeared beyond her with disappointment that she'd do that. In Au'Lahni's final moments of death her mother gives her powerful advice.All Rights Reserved
