As a high school student, Jackson Collingswood is fairly average... He has a bunch of friends, a crush on the cute neighbor, a close bond with his sister, problems with his parents, an addiction to music; He's actually very cliché... well almost.

As the days grow closer to his birthday, however, Jackson starts to see things; Things his friends don't seem to notice... His beloved music surrounds him and whispers names of places that feel real... and his sister isn't exactly whom she's claimed to be all these years.

Emmeline doesn't know what to do at one point and decides to end it all but doesn't succeed. The people who care for her try and help her find herself again but it can only be done if she wants it to happen.
