Two hundred years later, Vick has learned how to blend in with the human crowd. Her life couldn't be anymore perfect, especially with the disappearance of vampires for over fifty years (which hunters gladly help keep in place). However, her life is turned upside down when two old friends pop back into it. Them requesting her to assassinate the king of the vampires. Just when she thought she was free, Vick is thrown back onto the roller coaster of life. Along the way, she goes through a mess of terrifying memories, horrible grudges, sweet revenge, and love. *Rated mature for violent scenes and language*

When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire.
