Okay so this started out as a class assignment in English 2. You can thank Mr. Lauber for giving me this assignment. The first chapter will be the one-shot that I wrote in class. After that, I will try to make an actual story line for 9/11. And I have now dedicated this story to @climbingjade51 . She has supported me throughout the story from the beginning, and I hope that she helps more people, maybe ones that I guide to her guidance. Seeing my wife in the state she was in has to be the 2nd most painful thing to go through, the first being losing your little princess. I watched her sleeping peacefully, at least she was at peace and not thinking about what we are currently going through. I think the most painful thing about losing someone is that there's no warning, you don't get a chance to say a proper goodbye to them and there's no telling when you'll ever see them again. Death is a thief. - Melo Before my daughter came into the picture I used to drink and get really drunk. Alcohol has always been a coping mechanism f and my go-to for pretty much every emotion, be it happiness or sadness or even anger... it was always my go-to. But I stopped when I found out I was pregnant and only drank every now and then but never to get drunk. Losing my child has been hard, it's been a struggle I am yet to conquer, if how I also don't know. I've never been able to handle pain easily, for me reality strikes after some time... let's just say I react in a much later stage to pain or trauma. Yes, she was gone but I didn't want to accept it at first and I can't say that I've accepted it now because I haven't still but I'm taking it one day at a time... I've been drinking to ease the pain and not think about her or remember her but that's stupid because every part of this big house reminds me off her. It's been a month since her funeral and I've been drinking excessively. I'm not coping and neither is Melo. I cannot imagine us surviving this one. We just strangers who sleep on the same bed. All my life iv been alone. I grew up in an orphanage where my mom dropped me off at 6months and never looked back. She gave them all my documents and told them every month she going to deposit money for my up keep and she did. Every month the nuns at my orphanages will dance like craZy when the money goes through cause that means that our doors will be open for one more month. When I was 5 the orphanage changed it name to Zibusiso Care. My name and we started receiving funding like crazy allowing our kids to go to the best schools in SA that also giving me an opportunity to grow. When I was 18 I had to leave to study and I did go and did communication and bagging a degree. Than on my graduation day which is today, i received a letter of appointment to come for an interview as a project manager to one of the biggest and world known company and am in nerves. Bare in mind iv never applied there. That the story of my life, things just happen for me. Just like how I got a letter of this apartment am staying at, just like how its got furniture to all the things that I love and adore and just like how BMW called for me to fetch my car and I got there its a blue M series just like how my phone rings now and than and I get what I need at that specific time. "Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here. "Nope, your coming out to dinner away from this dump with your brothers and father", He said whilst looking around in discust. I rolled my eyes at him which he looked pretty shocked at. "Look Stone, Im not that 6 year old you can just boss around and fuck over anymore, I can take care of myself, Ive been doing that for my whole life so far, so why not the rest, so either order something or get the fuck out", I said to him getting faster and faster as I spoke. The boys gasped when I swore at Stone. He, on the other hand, looked furious. Matilda is 16 years old, with 5 older brother, 5 terrifying older brothers in who she hates with a passion.
