but what if:

Courtney Miller putters around Castorpod, a small town of about 1000 people... Made up of mostly several families. Everyone knew everyone. Everyone knew of everybody else's shit.
And everyone knew if you needed someone's help, Courtney would be there.

Surely, in this town there was nobody like her. She worked for free, she liked girls, and nobody's heard from her dad since he left without a word. To anyone.

She manages. That's that, she put her work on hold for a week, but since... She hasn't said much. Nobody really knows what's going on in her head. Why she doesn't take money. Why she doesn't trust much. Why she is who she is.
Why her family isn't a family.

But then again, 1000 people, anyone who judges her broken family are hypocrites.

Courtney Miller and the town's senior class are trudging by, held together by cheap glue as much as their minds are too. Just trying to make it.
