After Artemis Fowl regained his memory, he became a father of his son Artemis Fowl the Third who is also the son of Holly Short in secret. They make sure their son will never get evolve with the fairy people. Until one day a new foe and an old enemy kidnapped both his parents. With the help of his uncles Beckett and Myles Fowl and his parents' human and fairy friends it's up to Artemis Fowl the Third to save his parents and outwit his opponents the way his mother and father will do it.
