Its been a few months since Mare has been to Norta, since she's seen Cal more importantly. She left The Scarlet Guard to pick up the pieces of the broken country and live in peace with her family and friend. But over time her need to be useful over comes her and she's leaves back to Norta to become that Lighting Girl she once was only to find herself closed off once again by the people she thought she trusted and the man she thought she loved.
