The aftermath of the Great War was nothing but hell for the ancient generations. They had lived and experienced the best years of human history so, when destruction came, their old lifestyles were far-away memories that made them loose their mind. For the younger generation living in the fallen cities was as normal as breathing. Survival was part of their blood, their day to day. Many of them worked long hours since a young age to be able to provide for their families, or what was left of them. Casey belonged to this generation. She had been educated and raised in one of the fallen cities, not knowing her own capabilities and granted gifts, which she would be discovering after a stranger, with mesmerizing eyes, crossed her path. Soon, she realizes that the place she called home is about to get destroyed and that she is supposed to be responsible of the safety of, not just her family, but every life on the planet.
