The Other Akasuna

Izumi no Akasuna is the younger sister of the infamous Akatsuki member Sasori. Growing up among S-rank missing nin, she was shaped into a skilled criminal with no one knowing about her connection to the Akatsuki. For that reason, she's sent on a mission to infiltrate Sunagakure and gather crucial information on the jinchuriki of the One Tail, Gaara. Though Izumi's mission is clear, living in her old village starts to blur her focus. As she spends more time with the Sand Siblings, especially Gaara, she begins to struggle with her conflicting emotions.

When Sasori and the Akatsuki grow impatient with her delay, they start to suspect something is wrong. Meanwhile, the Sand Siblings are getting closer to discovering her true intentions. Izumi is faced with a heart-wrenching choice: will she stay loyal to her family and mission, or will she sacrifice her own to protect the bonds she has formed?

The choice between family and love could have devastating and deadly consequences.
