Second Chances

Rue, known as the "outcast" at her school, is labeled as "weird" and "different", but she's actually just misunderstood. Her father left when she was 10 years old, her mother died from cancer three years later, her little brother has schizophrenia, and her older sister is trying her best to give them a good life. Ever since her mother died she became very distant from her siblings and never bothered to make friends at school. But what happens when Coby, a new student that transfers to Rue's school, befriends Rue? Will Rue let Coby into her life or will she shut him out like everybody else?
