Whispers in the Dark
Every night for almost a year now, I get nightmares. Nightmares of something that can't possibly be real. The nightmares have made me paranoid, made me believe that my friends will turn around and betray me, even if the 'friends' they refer to are only in the dream world. After a small camping trip with my friends, I hear a voice call my name as if it's asking for help. It's freaking out even my penpal, Sean, to the point where he's now demanding I go to America and stay with him while he's on holiday visiting his friends there. I can only hope that my life goes back to normal. Or at least find out who is asking for help. And who's that strange man that's been following me? Only time will tell I guess.Complete

You are one of Mark's friends, and you love to help him no matter what. After getting invited to join in on his new skit (Who Killed Markiplier?), you notice that Mark isn't himself as he always is. While trying to help him out, you find a book called The Dark Book. The book gets you curious about what it's supposed to be about, but that's until Mark tells you to stay away from it. After fighting with him, you open the book and everything changes. While inside the book, you meet a strange figure that looks like Mark; except his name happens to be, Dark. After your meet up with Dark, you go through all the stories that represent him, and you actually enjoy it better than the real world. But all isn't as what it seems. What you don't know is that Dark is trying to force you to stay in the book forever, and be with him for the rest of your life. With a lot of challenges and stories to face, you try to think of a way to get out of the book, and back home to Mark and the others. Can you do it? Will you be able to escape Dark before it's too late? * This book is a recreation of The Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book story. And it has a hint of Who Killed Markiplier & Damien in the story.Complete

Here is the story of a lost soul and a child who never thought they would have a friendship as unique and as strange as this one. Never in a million years did Dark think he'd get roped into something like this, and he doesn't regret meeting Juliet at all. [So with "Who Killed Markiplier", I learned that Dark's normal name is actually Damien. I didn't know this until now because I didn't watch the livestream it was mentioned in. Point is, years ago, long before "A Date with Markiplier" when everyone had their own version of Dark, I had one version (of several) where his real name was Damien. Not because it meant anything, just because I liked the name and it started with a "D" so it worked. So, I decided to make it into a story. This is one of those things where Dark was pretty harmless but could look intimidating af if he wanted to. Also, this is as far from canon as you can go, you've been warned about how far from the original this short story is.] (Italics and bold are Dark talking and just italics is Juliet. Their dialogue is the only specific one. And Mark's, whenever he comes into the story, will be the same as Dark's but underlined.
