Power struggles, romances and stories of vengeance all intertwine. With every headstrong character believing they are the hero of the story, there's bound to be conflict.
The empire, ruled over by a vicious and cold-hearted man, is made up of three kingdoms. The kings and queen that rule these lands are conducted by the emperor, who sits upon his golden throne of slavery and cruelty.
The first kingdom, "ruled" by a king who believes that he is the most important, is under the control of a dangerous dragon, whose presence, although not always physically there, pressures the people. Not only does the dragon want to steal this king's throne, two young men also fight over the glory of ruling, a feud so bitter and full of hatred that it spans across all the kingdoms.
The second kingdom, whose people, mainly slaves freed from the grips of the emperor and happy peasants, is ruled by a queen. This queen, who believes all the other people in power are corrupt and unjust, devotes her life to aiding the victims of the emperor.
The third and final kingdom is ruled by a king who has grown old and weak. His feeble hand, which clutches a deadly yet unused sword, has trouble keeping a grip on his power. Although the king does not have an heir, there are many who are waiting for him to die so that they can snatch the throne and, in turn, snatch the kingdom.
All of these people, the rivalries and the romances, are just as strong and potent as each other, but there can only be one person in power.
