He searches your features for something-you don't know what, but you know his face when he's looking for something-and blinks, breaking the long, far too romantic stare for ex lovers, "Are you okay?" His voice is low, and despite the words, he doesn't sound extra worried. He sounds like he's got a heavy heart, or he's contemplating something.
His gaze makes you feel a way you never thought you'd feel because of Felix ever again, and you find yourself breathless. "... I-I'm fine," you barely get out, your eyes still stuck on his, and you hate that you have the urge to kiss him. To be held by him, loved by him, to be his again. You almost want to curse with how hard your heart is beating."
