Revenge......
On my true father, who abandoned me before I was born.
I need it.
On my blood mother, who left me to die when I could barely walk.
I want it.
On my adoptive father, who made my life a living hell for so many years.
I crave it.
On the only mother figure I'd ever known, who I loved, and who turned on me when my adoptive father gave the word.
I will have it.
But now is not the time. I need to lay low for a while, stay under the radar, till they forget some of how much they know about me.

My name is Nova. I have a last name, of course, but I wouldn't know it, because my parents abandoned me.
My 'father', he called himself, tried to make me believe things that are wrong.
He believed in murdering people to accomplish his goals.
I couldn't take it anymore, so I ran away. Or, rather, snuck off the planet on a small one-person space vessel.
He sent people after me, of course.
After they caught my spacecraft, I had to make an unexpected crash-landing on the closest planet, which also happened to be the very planet I was hoping to avoid.
Earth.

Four years later, now, when I am finally starting to heal, a reminder of my broken past comes back to haunt me. His name is Loki, and he was sent to conquer and rule Earth.
