Justin Rivers is not happy. He can't really remember the last time he smiled or laughed his heart out. Even though he's popular in school and plays at the basketball team, he feels like no one really knows him.
Dalvil knew that his master has hidden something in his bookstore, but no matter how hard he looked, he couldn't find it. At least, not until that really sad kid walked in, covered in blood, carrying a woman with him. Even though it was unlike him, he decides to help them.
The Sorcerous Bookstore is a coming-of-age story of a boy that has lost too much, aged too fast, and learned to love too hard. That, and a story of interlacing worlds full of mysteries and wonders spanning centuries, multiple realities, and magical sects.

As they deal with their mixed-up emotions, they face challenges that test how well they can understand each other. The boy has to fight against his natural distrust, wondering if this new connection is just a disguise for love or something real. At the same time, his rival, dealing with their insecurities, finds it hard to shift from being an enemy to possibly becoming a friend. Together, they need to figure out the blurry lines between love and hate, all while trying to redefine their relationship amid the confusion of their feelings. Will they let their fears and past experiences get in the way, or will they find a way to embrace the unexpected feelings developing between them?

It's a hard story to categorise, to slot into one genre. Yes, it is a time travel tale, a BL romance, with history and magic thrown in to make things more interesting. The ML grows on you, even the annoying puff of smoke becomes endearing. It's written as a journal, so the ML only knows what you know as he writes each chapter. Tim never foresaw where the events were leading him... so far from home, in place and time. He never knew he could live such a BIG life. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain. The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted. Life couldn't be worse. Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor.
