𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔇𝔢𝔰𝔠𝔢𝔫𝔡𝔞𝔫𝔱𝔰

The Elysian war lasted Eons. The wrath of the battling gods taking it's toll on the mortal realm, wreaking havoc where peace once ruled.
Then finally, the war came to an end.

With the Goddess of Death and destruction banished to the Realm of Nightmares, the remaining Gods came to an agreement. For the sake of life, both mortal and immortal, they would lock themselves away in their paradise, never to be seen outside of it again. Yet, they knew the Forsaken Goddess would return, so, in their wisdom and their fear, the gods would bestow their powers amoung mortals they found worthy enough to protect their world.
Mortals, gifted with abilities strong enough to defeat a Goddess.

8 were chosen.
8 mortals, bound by a prophecy, to one day protect all life from a horrible fate.
One man or woman chosen by one God or Goddess. The powers they were granted passed down through their bloodlines, and eventually, the knowledge of the prophecy and any magic of the gods were lost to time and memory.

It's been centuries and centuries since the Elysian War. Life has returned to normal, and the horrible fate to come has been long since forgotten in the sands of time. The peace everyone has once again learned to love had gone spiraling out of their reach as the cacodemons, sent by the Goddess of death, have started to attack.

The Descendants of those 8 people, both royal, common, and warrior alike, have regained the passed down memory of their mission; the duty to protect and serve their realm. Will they be able to overcome their differences, and collaborate to save what they find most precious, or will they fail their sacred mission, damning all living things to a horrible end....?
