One day, Nico is summoned to his father on an important mission for Hecate. He is told to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he will befriend a trio of wizards and protect them from the Dark Lord. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react.
