Corey Vincent, like many others was born with a necklace connecting him to his soulmate. All his life, he was told stories about how when around his soulmate, his necklace would heat up, like a small fire around his neck. Corey dreamed for that day. But now, he's in college and his necklace has somehow gotten to ungodly cold temperatures. He felt as if it a layer of ice has covered his heart.
