Going through the typical teenager's life of school and friends, Phoebe is not a typical teenager. Living life as a boy trapped in a girl's body, he can't remember a time where he didn't look around at the boys around him and think, "Why am I not like him?" He goes to sleep wishing to wake up in the right body and dreaming that the boy he is on the inside can finally show on the outside. And every day, he just hopes for the day to come when he can finally be his dream boy.

Meet Sam, not your usual British teenager, but he's Sam. He may be too honest for his own good, he may be too kind for his own mind, and he may care too much about everyone so there isn't any left for him. He changes that, and for him its euphoria, for others its confusing. is he selfish? horrible? or does he just need an escape from a box he feels trapped in. maybe he finds that escape, but is it truly worth it? does he feel it was worth it? Maybe he finds someone, who makes his choice worth while. Maybe that someone, is the one who saves Sam. After they first meet, to their most recent conversation, Sam feels good, he feels safe. Let's hope it stays that way. 'its time to face my biggest fear, stepping outside the box. I hope I don't regret this, and if I do then I hope I find peace.' ~~~~~~~~~ DISCLAIMER: This story is about the realities of being trans. This is not a usual cliche story, do not expect it to be sweet. It is harsh, and true. It is written from the perspective of someone who is trans. this is not based around anyone's life, this is all made up, but circles the struggles that are not spoken about. Please note that there are subjects discussed that may be triggering such as : transphobia, homophobia, violence, suicidal thoughts, transphobic and homophobic slurs, sexual assault, bullying, talk about eating disorders, and talk about gender dysphoria. This story is not romanticising any of these, it is showing the truth about certain things. In no way are the triggers meant to be romanticised, they will not be shown like that in the book.
