The Hidden Truth (A Destiny Fanfiction)
Ezekiel (Zero) lived alone with his sister, Maya for most of his life. Living in poverty, they did not have to opportunity to enjoy the luxuries of the Golden Age, which was graciously provided to them by the Traveler. However, after having fallen victim to the Collapse, they were both reawakened as Guardians. Forming the fireteam Hidden Power, with the help of a curious Exo Huntress and a sarcastic human Warlock, they fought to purge the Darkness in the name of the Traveler. ~~~ This was first video game fanfic. My obsession towards Destiny, and adoration towards the "Chronicles of a Warlock" series by @bad-juju inspired me to write my own fanfiction, and I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. I own most of the characters in this story but not the entire story (story belongs to Bungie), except a few sections of it. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Complete

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1.
