My Gift and My Curse

Alexandria Kathleen didn't have the best childhood, but she made it through. At least she did until her world turned upside down. Within seven months of the deaths of her mother and brother, she managed to get her life back together. She moved to America, got an apartment, found a job, and signed up for public school.
