Kaelyn Nova McMurray came from a home life that would be described as 'less than ideal'. After her father left, and falling on hard times with her mother, she was put to work... as a dish washer.
Somehow she ends up on the R.L.S. Legacy, hired by the esteemed Dr. Delbert Doppler as part of the crew. Unsure of her place in the world, and tending to go with the flow of her life, she's suddenly thrust into the adventure she's always dreamed about. One little problem? Jim Hawkins.

This follows the events of Treasure Planet. The only alterations I've made are instead of Jim being 15 (like he is in the movie) I've aged him up so he's 17; and of course, inserted Kael (18) into the narrative.
This is my first fanfic I've ever put up! So, PLEASE, constructive criticism!
