Abella Lourdington, daughter of Mary and Louis Lourdington, otherwise known as the King and Queen of England, is sick and tired of this life. Always being pampered isn’t as good as it sounds. She is over protected. No friends, no fun, no life outside the castle. She hides her books and journals from her family, as they are banned for women. One day, she leaves the castle, wearing a cloak, and travels to the village during the night. The night in the village is a wonderous experience- fire dancers and jugglers. Abella meets a young man her age- Cristopher. She is intrigued by him, and how carefree he is. She sneaks into the village to meet him every night, and falls in love. But when it’s time for Abella to take the throne, will she leave for her love? Or will she be Queen?
