Amari Town is new to the La Push reservation, her grandmother passed away when she was six and Amari had inherited $9,000 and on her twenty-second birthday, she and her parents were in a brutal car accident, her parents passed on impact and had left Amari with $1,000,000. 
Amari had graduated from nursing school, her Aunt Lily inviting her to come visit her in La Push. Amari was going to reject her Aunt's offer but thought it better to accept, Amari, wanting to quickly escape the murderous city of Seattle for a bit.
