It's not until years after her parents disappear that she finds how deep the roots of this story run, down to the very blood in her veins. Ayla finds herself swept into a world of barbarous warriors, remorseless savages, and vengeful gods, caught in the middle of an ancient war with consequences more terrifying and deadly than she ever imagined, and with a message from the dead to find the one thing that will define the war, the thing that many, good and evil alike, would kill for-- the Eclipsed.
