So basically it's Temari's birthday, however both Shikamaru and Temari have been busy and they haven't seen each other since a year. They only got to see each others faces on video calls but they both hated this. Kakashi has found the perfect misson to suna for Shikamaru, however Shikamaru has to take 3 talented kids from the academy with to the mission. The story unfolds seven months after the Fourth Shinobi War, and it's Temari's first time coming to Konoha during the start of peacetime. Shikamaru is assigned to be her escort as per usual, but this time things are a little different. After their unexpected first kiss, the two shinobi start to develop feelings for one another and neither knows what to do. Temari is the princess of Sunagakure with two overprotective brothers and a nagging administrative council, and Shikamaru is simply her escort who is in training to be the next advisor of the newly appointed Sixth Hokage. Apparently, their relationship could never work... publicly, that is. Will they overcome their doubts, risk destroying their friendship, and fall in love all in utmost secrecy? Sometimes they're shinobi fighting for their lives; sometimes they're average teenagers. Sometimes stories are told from their perspective; other times it could even be their past selves narrating. These are simply drabbles. Short stories, one shots, au's, poems and such that will all be related to our much loved shinobi. It'll all be pretty random, and all for fun; something to cultivate my writing skills. You'll be sure to find many interesting little tidbits in here! I started this book way back in 2015, and now republishing old works. Searching For Light (Naruto)
The seasons change along with the year. So much can change in one year. Than why do I feel the same? The only change about me is how further I went from the light. So deeper, and deeper I went into my own darkness, and hidden sorrow. Lying on my back, it almost feels like I'm floating.But I'm not, I'm falling. I don't fight it, I don't willingly let myself go either- or atleast I didn't. Not until everything happened. Now, I just allow the darkness that surrounds me, consume me. Nothing waited for me in the light, atleast not anymore. Atleast that's what I thought.... So there I laid... just letting time fly by. Just living, or atleast breathing. Then there's a hand. A hand that was reached out to.... me. Once again, I do nothing. As it tries to reach for me, I only fall deeper. I thought it will give up soon, but it was so persistent that I almost couldn't stand it. I was afraid. I didn't want it touching me. I didn't want help. I just wanted to be left alone. But at the same time... I didn't. As if a part of me was cheering it on to come save me from myself. To take me out of here, and help me see. Then that fear came back, and I pushed myself further in. Irritated, when it wouldn't let me be. Though mostly, I was confused, conflicted... What was I supposed to do? Keep sinking? Or finally resurface? Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto just my characters.
