Eloise Rose Kavanaugh is not like most girls her age. She doesn't have many friends, and she's never had a boyfriend. Her world gets rocked out of place when she meets fun loving and carefree Caleb Roland who lives his life one day at a a time. Caleb wants to bring out Eloise's true self to the surface. But Eloise has a dark past she'd like to forget. Having two famous parents takes a toll on a person especially when her father is serial killer, Hiram Kavanaugh, he killed four young girls when Eloise was 11 and he planned to do the same with her. Eloise's mother is Gwenyth Kavanaugh a successful business woman who is sending Eloise away for her last year of high school. During this time Eloise starts getting anonymous texts from her father. What happens when Eloise and Caleb start digging further into her past? What will happen when Caleb finds out Eloise is supposed to leave before the summer is over?

I was scared at first too, even though I was learning how the underground criminal activity worked for a report I was writing in school.
