Out of all the people to make a historical fiction about, King Henry the 8th may not be a person's first choice, but trust me, this is needed.  Henry the 8th was the only member of the Tudor family to not be buried in Westminster Abbey for a reason...like...Mary Queen of Scots made it in there (she was Bloody Mary).  So, while in life he was a man that normally got his way, there was someone who put up a good fight.  While my main character is not real in this timeframe (my protagonist is used in Welsh legend and histories) she interacts with real historical figures who I have captured within these pages.Todos los derechos reservados

Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.
