The aftermath of the fight with Tartaros paid a larger toll than anyone expected. They loss their dragons, their unity as a guild, and they've lost their dragon slayer, who had disappeared after becoming something no one expected.
Everyone had gone their separate ways, except for Lucy and Happy. Together, they travel all over Fiore to rebuild their home, meanwhile the Master embarks on a dangerous mission to the continent across the sea, where several familiar faces await him.
A war is brewing and darkness in the form of a dragon awaits all of Earthland, and for the Fairy Tail mages, only one thing is certain: very few will survive the conflict between the demon, the dragon, and the immortal.
