Juniper Indigo has lived a sad life. Her mother died five years ago from her tragic brain tumor. Juniper lost not only her mom but the person who was there for her from the beginning. Living in a house of parents, older sisters, a twin brother, a younger brother, and three younger sisters isn't easy. She herself was diagnosed with lung cancer three years ago as a thirteen-year-old. Her dad hates her guts and when her annoying bossy sister comes into town, things are destined to get worse especially when she has an eye for a popular boy in her grade. When he notices her, will she keep her secrets hidden just to be noticed? What happens when she finds out there is a cure to her cancer? But not what she was expecting. What happens when this turns into an ugly mystery? The boy next door is the cure. He carries secrets too.

"Being mute isn't a disability. It just means that God loves you so much that He took away your voice so that you don't hurt others verbally. You see, He doesn't want you to do what others are doing to you." ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ When Sierra Bloom suffers a tragedy that costs her both her family and her voice, she shuts down every bit of emotion and passion within her and brings out a new and cold her that doesn't like being around people and things that are easy to get attached to. Enter David Hale. Cheerful, bright, friendly -a shocking contrast to her cold, closed off personality. Not only does David do things she dislikes, he also does not know when to give up on her. What is Sierra supposed to do when he keeps bringing out the old her and makes her forget the tragedy she caused? The answer is obvious; shut him out and run away. That's the solution.... right? ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ This book was written in 2013, back when I was still pretty much a kid. It hasn't been edited and there are many issues I find with it. I may or may not edit//re-write, but if I do I don't think I'll post it here. At least, for now. In any case, the person I was then is not the person I am now lmaoo but I'm still proud of younger me for this cute little thing. I love all my lovely, LOVELY readers who have sent me such beautiful messages about this book ♥ Thank you for loving my book, it means the world to me. ⌔ - 2023 Update ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ Achievements: General Fiction: #81 Romance: #186 Kisses: #4 ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ All Rights Reserved. 30 parts Complete Mature

Juniper and Abel, high school sweethearts now in their early twenties, find their once idyllic relationship strained. Abel's erratic behavior-marked by mood swings and uncharacteristic cruelty-leaves Juniper bewildered and desperate to understand what's wrong. Despite her suspicions that Abel might be unfaithful, Juniper remains determined to support him. Unbeknownst to Juniper, Abel is grappling with a personal battle: his struggle to quit drinking. His secrecy about his efforts and the reasons behind them only fuels Juniper's insecurities. Abel's well-intentioned attempts to protect Juniper by keeping his struggles hidden backfire, creating a chasm between them. As both Juniper and Abel allow external influences and their own doubts to cloud their judgment, their relationship teeters on the brink. When Abel finally decides to come clean, he realizes too late that his silence has caused irreparable damage. In a misguided effort to do what he believes is best for Juniper, Abel makes a decision that he will come to regret as the biggest mistake of his life.
