Lex Gringham didn't ask to be whisked away to a stinky old summer camp far from home. His idea of a summer vacation is to stick around and play video games all day, but noooooooo, his rich parents decide to send him off just so they can finally go off to Italy this year. So he begrudgingly is sent to White River Summer Camp in order to be kept confined and occupied.
Tim Kingston is Lex's polar opposite. Active, energetic, and completely invigorated in whatever is put in front of him, Tim makes it a point in befriending Lex during summer camp. But Tim's personality and cheerfulness is more than enough for Lex to avoid him at all costs.
Unfortunately, the two are to be paired for the summer, and handling each other is going to be more work than it seems. But then again, polar opposites often attract in the weirdest ways.
