Aidan Frosz always thought he was normal. A normal boy whose biggest concern is maintaining good grades and getting a scholarship to his ideal college. Then, one day, his father is brutally murdered and ripped from his life. He drowns in grief, sorrow, and depression... Until he finds himself being revived through the befriending of a strange transfer student. Along with the mysteriously alluring Rosette Lois, Aidan discovers deep secrets about his family: why his father insisted he be trained in defensive arts, and the darkness that runs in his ancestry. But the most shocking fact to him is that his father may not actually be dead after all. *Being edited in writing process* (I would vastly appreciate suggestions and comments pointing out any errors in the text. Thanks for reading!)

*sequel to My Ex-Best Friend: The Bad Boy, but can be read as a stand alone* *cover made by weird_liv* Daxton Smythe will never be the same after the fatal car accident when he was fourteen that killed his mother. Three years later, he is still suffering. He will never be able to escape the past. However, Dax's life has been going smoothly for a while. His guardian is one of the best he could ask for, his older brother is still there for him, and he's still close with his best friend. Things will always be this way, right? Wrong. Dax is in his senior year of high school, which soon turns into a roller coaster. He never thought life would be any worse than it was when he was fourteen and fifteen. Boy, was he wrong. After all, what's senior year without some drama? Warning: Mild language and sensitive topics. Might have some trigger warnings, especially because of Dax's condition. ~*~*~*~ I'd like to thank Cold_icelove247 for the title of the book. :)
