Ah yes, the Vanguard. The Last City's only source of law and order, with the additional protection of the Guardians. Ikora Rey; a Human, Commander Zavala; an Awoken, and Cayde-6; an Exo, govern the Vanguard from inside the tower, and work harmoniously with one another, despite how different they are. 
Ryder, a recently newly revived Guardian, has no idea what's she's in for with her Hunter Vanguard. Cayde's reputation definitely proceeds him...he's flirty, sarcastic, lazy, and clearly his ego is too big for his britches, regardless of him being a quick thinker, but there's something about him that Ryder can't put her finger on. Maybe she'll figure it out eventually huh?
