Dylan is Fine. Completely Fine. With a capital F. That is, until, his mother, for some reason, taken in her godson who'd gotten kicked out of his house to make Dylan 'feel better'. "A friend will do you well during the longgg summer." "It's not like you have any other friends, Dylan, it's one summer." "You never leave your room, Dy, I'm nervous!" And, of course, this new 'friend', will not leave him alone.
So now he's miserable.

This book touches on physical, mental, and verbal abuse from friends, family, and guardians. As well as sexual assault and harassment (But don't worry, it's fade to black), has extreme depictions of self harm and suicidal thoughts, has scenes and descriptions of a public shooter, eating disorders, and lastly, racism/classism. The list may be long, but it IS the point of the book to touch on all of these topics. I hope you enjoy.
