Logan had never played the game. He was never in a bar long enough to do so.
But, when the unemployed, know-it-all stumbles upon Thomas's looking for a job, he comes across the purple-haired champion and wins a game.
With the crushing defeat now weighing on Virgil's shoulders, he struggles to live his everyday life.
But, is it really the defeat that's eating at him?

I can feel my heart racing against my ribs as if it is about to tear itself out of my chest as I gaze into a pair of violet-silver eyes. They are locked onto my own with a predator's intensity.
