Making moves with some of the most ruthless criminals in Detroit wasn't in his best interest but only the strong survived in this city.  Alex would not only change his life, but he would also change Amina's and not for the best.

   Phoenix Reid is a tough and fierce criminal lawyer and also, Amina's best friend.  When Phoneix learns of Amina's whirlwind love she's extremely happy for her. Love doesn't come easy to successful black women, and when Phoenix learns she knows more about Alex then Amina wants to know, their friendship would be put to the test and lines will be drawn.
