sonic the hedgehog was an average mobian who loved his hero life down in the island of Bygone. He lived with his roomate Tails the Fox and his pet Hedgehog Shadow named after his shyness, love for the dark and his fur that was black like the shadows.
Sonic loved his hedgehog, he was like him in a way if he was an average hedgehog with no mobian features and Shadow loved his owner as much as any pet would love his.
One day though, Shadow gets lost and comes back full mobian all by the work of Sonic's enemy Eggman. When full mobian, Shadow starts to notice the strange feelings he's always had for Sonic grow more and more. He doesn't know what it's called. Sonic says it's love but the azure already gave his heart to someone else..
