After the death of his sister, James's life became hell. His parents started beating him up and he was forced to indore it.

 Isolation, submission, and a desperate attempt to please others were just some of the things he tried to better his current lifestyle, but none worked. In a last attempt to free himself he did something that he knows he could get killed for if he got caught. But as always, things never went as planned. An unimaginable event happened which caused him to lose his life.

Waking in a world of magic and swords, he's been placed in a rather odd situation. Years after his encounter with the god who blessed him with a second life by mistake, his circumstances changed dramatically causing his future plans and second chance to go down the drain. 

But being surrounded by a new found family he decides to not be the victim of fate, but let fate be the victim.

Not mature for the younger audiences. -------------------------------- I don't like explaining my books because when I do I tend to write everything that happens, so I am just going to say that I come up with these horribly dark ideas and put them into books, of course these books may be sad, and maybe even a bit sadistic, and in my mind they are badass, but when I write them down I don't feel as if I can show what I am truly imagining. I feel as if they suck, but my best friend tells me that they are amazing and that I better publish them when I finish so I did. Obviously. So eh. Yes, I know I happen to say this in each of my story descriptions but I truly do end up ruining the story if I write about it. There is foul language, sexual content, stupidity, and most likely some grammar errors, so I'm just forewarning anyone that reads it. I also try to make each chapter 2000 words or more, I suppose if that isn't enough someone will eventually tell me so here you go. ><><><><><><><><><><> Book 1- Deceived Book 2- Different Book 3- Ruthless There is another series that ties to this one, of course I don't name my series so I will just give the names of the books in order, but they should be read first, although it doesn't honestly matter as long as Ruthless is read last. "What of this thief I hear that has hidden themselves in The Lands of Luxury?" I say. Rail lowered his emerald eyes towards the horizon. "Have you thought of my proposal?" Rail asks, avoiding my question. He had asked me many times to become his protector and leave the True One. Of course, I always say no. It pained me to see the hurt in his once peaceful eyes. "You know my answer." I whisper. I lay my hand on top of his. There was always a spark that clouded my mind when I touched Rail. I pull away, dropping my eyes. "This was a wonderful gathering, Rail. Thank you, but I must return to the True One." I begin to light the room with my silverlight overpowering Rail's golden blaze, getting ready to flash. "Wait! Stay to find the thief. Please, Aderes." I'm hovering over the floor. Rail grabs my hand, and the shock brings me back to him. I lower myself and let go of him. "I will stay until the thief is found. Then I must return to the True One's heaven." I try to smile at Rail to calm him. It works. His green eyes linger on me as I walk away from the balcony and return to the gathering. *** After meeting Jay, Sarah's father is killed, which causes her to accidentally tap into unknown powers. Sarah begins to learn the truth about who Aderes is and how Sarah herself is connected to her. But most importantly, she learns who's been lying to her since the beginning.

His eyes flick down to my lips and then back up to my eyes. Before I can speak his hands grab my waist and pull me closer to him.
