Shard is the Hero, <You> of Dragon Quest 9. She pulls her friends; Yo, Gyfie and Popcorn into a crazy 'scheme' to make a Handbook for the Travelers of the Mortal Realms. Including some jokes, a wee bit of crude language, and the Actual Handbook (One section per chapter) the four travel around the Mortal Realms... 'cause they're stuck at the final boss fight... So they decided to help the 'beginners' (or anyone really) by giving people lists of Items, their prices and where you can get them. Yes, the prices do vary from place to place.
