Regina Iverson, an ambitious defence attorney, thinks she has finally made the career break she for so long desired when she gets assigned to a high-profile murder case. Her biggest surprise comes not in the form of criminal brutality or backdoor firm politics she is suddenly faced with, but her client Damon Steinberg: a suave, witty and charming corporate giant who appears to be anything but a ruthless killer. While the evidence indicates an almost crystal clear guilt, Regina can not bring herself to condemn the man in her eyes, digging deep into the case to find the true criminal and putting herself in danger in the process. With so much at stake, there is only one question Regina wants to answer: can she fall for a criminal or is she correct about Damon's innocence?
