Its the year 2018, a couple of years right after the events of the Persona 5. A young teenager, 16 years old, named Ryu Himuro is an accused drug addict and is heading to a school in Yokohama. His childhood has been always neglected since he never had a easy life with his parents divorce and in the end he took comfort in drugs, something to get him out of reality. He is there to live with his aunt, who just apparently moved there a couple of months ago, Tae Takemi. There in Yokohama he meets some people who had been in and are in the same situation as him. He found out about a power called Persona and the beings like Shadows appear for those people who take a special drug at midnight and wonder in this place called 'The Lost Eden'. Will he be able to fend off the 'addiction' or will he be devoured by it....

This is a fan-made persona book I'm writing. it may be different from what I am used to writing so bear with me.

One year after the events of the defeat of Yaldabaoth, the God of Control, Akira Kurusu, now 18 and a former outcast and leader of the Phantom Thieves, has reverted back to being a normal student. He was framed and put under probation by a crooked politician, but Kurusu gained the ability of Persona to change people's hearts and get back at the politician for wrecking his life, with the help of his friends. Living in his hometown with his parents, Kurusu remembers his days with his fellow outcasts, changing herts and building bonds with them. Thankfully, Morgana, a talking cat created by the man of the Velvet Room, Igor, to assist Kurusu is with him as well. While his parents have an okay, yet distant relationship with Kurusu, and the distance between his friends is large, he still manages to keep in touch with the rest of the Phantom Thieves, missing the good old days with them. In another world, an empire filled with corruption is teetering on the brink of ruin, slowly growing even more disgusting with the Prime Minister's selfish actions. A group of Assassins called Night Raid are rebelling against the Empire, hoping to change it for the better. But the corruption is running deeper in most of the empire, forming extreme distortions that Night Raid can't face themselves. Ren's return from juvenile hall finally gave the Thieves the chance they had to talk about why Mementos still exists, despite Yaldabaoth's fall. When they return to investigate, Ren is acting more and more brash and reckless, and Makoto worries it may have something to do with Arsene and Satanael's odd lack of a 3rd tier evolution. Or they thought it was a lack. When the Reaper ambushes them, it turns out that it was about to meet its match. And it was as dangerous as it was suave. It's name? Raoul. - Vanilla P5, with the 3rd Tier Personas from Royal. Slight canon divergence, because the Metaverse stays around after Yaldabaoth's fall, with mention of other palaces as well, and Joker wields twin knives, not just one. Gameplay divergence because the Reaper is an ACTUAL THREAT (like in Striker's, god the Reaper is tough in Striker's) Shumako, Other changes to the lore, like Haru works with Ren in Leblanc, Sojiro adopted Ren, Persona's can communicate with their User's in the real world, and a few other little tweaks and stuff. Following the immediate and abrupt expulsion from ANHS due to alleged aggravated assault Ayanokouji Kiyotaka is hereby placed under probation in accordance with the Penal code. Sojiro Sakura an acquaintance of the designated caretaker by the rights of the ANHS organization will act as guardian for the next year of his sentence. Any further actions against laws or codes of conduct which shall be debriefed shall be met with further punishments. Case Dismissed. And with the bang and wave of a gavel the trial was over. Shouldn't have expected much else I guess. Oh well, I suppose I am excited for what comes next though. Who knows what form of freedom awaits? Will it be offered to me on a pedestal?
