She could hear the soldiers speaking downstairs in the tavern but couldn't make out what they were saying. It sounded like they were already setting up their headquarters. "Just my luck," she thought. "I don't know how I'm going to get out of this one! The enemy is all around me!" Then she glanced over at Brandon who was still lying by the fire. "Even in this very room!"
