Daisy Solaire is the youngest of Hyperion's many daughters. A Phoenix and a Goddess in both respects, she is weaker than her other 500 sisters. As the last child to be born, her half sisters all doted on her, each demanding she have a childhood instead of the rigorous training they were subjected to. They had thought themselves kind, but in truth they were cruel. When Daisy froze into her immortality she was weak, as weak as a human. Rose one of her elder sisters took it upon herself to be mother and mentor to her, hoping that she would grow strong one day. Rose is full of guilt for petitioning so hard for Daisy to play and to learn like mortal children, but she doesn't know that that's not why Daisy is so weak. The secret behind it is revealed when David Stone, son of the demon king Lucius is locked away in their kingdom's jail. He lures kind hearted Daisy to him, to feed off her, only to realise she is like him in so many ways. When her true identity is revealed, and when she feeds from him, they embark together on an adventure of discovering, finding new family along the way.
