One of Pink Floyd's most iconic albums The Wall, is one which is open to a lot of interpretation. Recently, I have been listening to the CD in full in my car, and it inspired me to write what this album is about using my own ideas as well as the movie (1982), and internet sources.

All Is Not What It Seems
In the vibrant yet gritty rock scene of the early 80's, Nikki Sixx, a bassist with a troubled past, and Tommy Lee, a free-spirited drummer, find one another on what would have been any other ordinary Saturday night. Almost instantly, Nikki senses there's a musical connection to behold as he's watching Suite 19's drummer perform that night at the Troubadour. And much to his utter dismay, he also senses the inkling of another, more primal connection between the two of them. A connection he purposely tries to pretend doesn't exist, for the sake of his own sanity, so he tells himself. But pretending can only fabricate an illusion you desperately wish was real for so long. When the walls of Nikki's deluded reality begin to crumble, he finds himself drowning in the remains of his shattered dignity and feelings of self-hatred. Yet, when he finally breaks the surface for a desperate breath of air, it's there that he finds Tommy, the savior he had been searching for-his lifeline, rescuing him from his abyssal sea.
