Detective Louise Highcroft's first investigation is an open and shut case. The murderer has confessed, even led them too the body, there's no chance of him getting off in court. Its a fantastic start to her career. Her colleagues are envious and her superiors think she's marvellous, but she is troubled. When another girl is reported missing, Louise can't accept the police view that she's a runaway starts thinking she got the wrong man. Her search for answers puts her in conflict with her bosses, but she meets the Mental Health worker who was involved with the assumed murderer and who is convinced he's innocent. They embark on a roller coaster of a journey, putting their lives and professional reputations at risk as they work together to discover the truth.

it's 2013, detective Olivia Benson and her teenage daughter are doing alright even with the loss of Olivia's partner of 12 years being gone now for 2 years without a word. but things are about to take a turn for the worst for both of them. will they survive? will they ever get back to normal? will the team find them in time? find out in Surrendering the Bensons. (This story is a different take on the william lewis arc. Where olivia and her daughter are terrorized instead of just olivia. She has wonderful parents, great friends, and of course the perfect boyfriend, Jack Roberts. That all changes on her sixteenth birthday when her life comes crashing down around her. Her dream night turns into a nightmare when Jack is murdered right in front of her, and she’s kidnapped by his murderer, Carter Thomas, a big time drug and arms dealer. After ten months of being with Carter, she’s found, but the experience has totally changed her. She’s no longer the happy-go-lucky girl that everyone used to know and love; she’s now cold, hard and suffers from night terrors. It appears that Carter broke not only her body, but her spirit too. Detective Joe Pratt suspected the owner of the card to be involved in the murder one way or another but the police force disagrees with him. He however has no way to proof the suspect guilty except he breaks the law. He sought help from his daughter and an officer he believes he could trust. Things went south when Naomi Pratt discovered there might be another person responsible for the murder. The detective became confused as to who the real murderer is. "Who murdered those people?" It remains a Mystery amidst the misery.
