A Path to Blindness

Rich is a simple man.

This short, four-part story tells of a man in 1995 and his love for his house, hobbies and small comforts. He rests in his small home comfortably at night after a long week of tiring work, ready to watch T.V. and maybe enjoy a good book.

His weekend plans are flipped backwards when he gets a message on his phone from a stranger, however. Worse, it has a strange number - a nonexistent area code and superstitious number combinations. Turning out to be an old school-mate, he agrees to meet up with her as a harmless lunch meeting.

Or, so he thought. Abruptly, her sweet and charming act quickly transforms into frightening, and he ends up trapped, while in an emotional and physical ditch at an already low area of his life.
