"we took a polaroid, hopin' i'd see your face again."

*Kairi hold her camera to take a picture of Basilica.*

*Tyler noticed her so he blocked the sunset view and started to pose like a model*

Kairi: Mister, could you please step back for a second. You're blocking the beautiful view.

Tyler: The only beautiful view I see is me. Come'on, don't be shy. Take me a photo now.

Kairi: I'm serious, Mister.

Tyler: What's the matter? I looked more aesthetic.

Kairi: I need to take a picture of this view for memories.

Tyler: Give me that! *snatches the polaroid camera* For remembrance you said? Then let's take a photo together.

-A/N, this is in an alternate universe where Rhea/Demi is not famous- Imagine being the only chubby girl at the gym? This was the type of embarrassment I had to deal with every time I went to workout. I would try to hide my face behind my baggy hoodie, hoping that nobody would notice me. But of course, they did, I wasn't hard to miss. The snickers and whispers were impossible to ignore. It was like they were all laughing at me, like I was some sort of joke. But I was there for the same reason, to become a better version of myself. All the jokes and laughter dropped my motivation to an all-time low. I was already feeling so self-conscious about my body, and now I had to deal with this? I wanted to give up, to just go home and hide under my covers. But then, I saw her. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. She was confident, strong, and unapologetically herself. She didn't let anyone's comments bother her. In fact, she seemed to take pleasure in her own success. Her hair jet black, perfectly tied back, tight t-shirt revealing just enough muscle for me to know she was serious about her workouts. She moved with such ease and grace, as if she'd been born to be there. It was almost as if she was dancing to some invisible beat. I couldn't help but watch her. Seeing her smile and laugh with her friends made me realize that maybe I was wrong about this place. Maybe there was a way to fit in, to find my own sense of belonging. My name is Kayla, and this is my experience of "Love at first sight."

'Jax smiles again as a blush creeps over him making his cheeks a soft shade of pink and nods to my other hand. "It looks like a good read." Confused I look down and realise I'm still holding my book. Oh for the love of marshmallows why couldn't I have picked any other book to read on this flight. Embarrassment washes over me and I hold my head high as I try to muster a reply. "It is indeed." Wow Dani, witty reply, my inner me smacks herself in the head again for what seems like the 100th time today. But I guess when your holding a book titled "Nailed" with what can only be described as a very interesting positioned couple on the front it's just not your freaking day.' Photographer Dani Harris is taking a break from life. Shes travelling back to her childhood home in Hawaii for a bit of R&R. During the flight she meets Jax, a Greek God looking man who sets her skin on fire and heat straight to other places. Exchanging numbers they part after the flight, where she bumps into another man who has her questioning what the hell they put in the water here now that is breeding men who look this stunning. Griffin is a detective in Hawaiian PD, and has somehow been wrangled to pick up his partners sister and entertain her while he follows up on a lead. He's heard stories over the years about the sister but never imagined this gorgeous women standing in front of him squinting at his makeshift sign to be her. She knocks him completely off his feet and he knows that the beating her brother will certainly give him for his very inappropriate thoughts may just be freaking worth it. Dani finds herself torn between two men, but when something is revealed about Jax she must choose which is really in her heart and which is just using her...... (Told thru Dani, Jax and Griffin) (COMPLETED) WARNING contains mature themes and language. Highest Rating: #1 loveorlust
