Now sixteen, Hiccup lies awake some nights, worrying about who he really is. He knows that he'll never be his father, but he can't say he'll become his mother, for he never knew her. However, he gets a break from these worries when Trader Johann mysteriously disappears. The search leads the riders to Blackrock Isle, where Hiccup is kidnapped by a mysterious being named Aura. Hiccup is forced to make a deadly decision that puts everyone in danger, and Aura erases his memory. Blissfully unaware of the threat if Aura, Hiccup returns to Berk.
