Skylar is dead. 
Killed to be precise. 
Have you ever wondered what happens after you die? Well Skylar did too, but she was amazed to see, what was waiting for her as she opened her eyes again. 
Not only is that god really handsome, charming and caring, but tells her, that she can not leave resting in peace, yet as something is forcing her into that middle instance, between everlasting peace and life. So he has no other choice than to keep her at his residence. But something else seems to be hiding inside of her, as gods brother, the devil, is after her and is talking about "making her his strongest ally". And what is that strange beeping, she hears sometimes?
All Skylar can do is to go along, trying to adapt and understand.
